Jennifer Lim is an actress and filmmaker. Her acting work encompasses film, TV, theatre and radio in the UK and abroad.
Hailing originally from Singapore where her television appearances include the Mandarin series, Waves Of Courage and The Broadcaster, Jennifer is probably best known for her role as Kana in the smash hit horror film, Hostel. Written and directed by Eli Roth of Cabin Fever fame (himself the star of Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds) and exec produced by Tarantino, Hostel went on to gross more than $45 million at the U.S. box office.

Born of mixed Singapore Chinese/British parentage, as an actor has appeared at the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Court, Royal National Theatre, Edinburgh Traverse, Hampstead, The Gate, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Manchester Library, Leicester Haymarket and was Fortinbras opposite Alan Rickman’s Hamlet at Riverside Studios. For Mu-lan Theatre Company played leading roles in their award winning productions of Porcelain and The Magic Fundoshi as well in Sun Is Shining which played to sold out audiences at the King’s Head and Battersea Arts Centre in London as well as off Broadway New York. Has also worked extensively in Singapore for Singapore Repertory Theatre, tHEATREwORKs, Wild Rice and Pangdemonium as well as appearing at the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre in Yellow Earth’s English & Mandarin production of King Lear and touring the US in the acclaimed Aquila Theatre Company’s tour of Aristophanes’ The Birds.

Wu Yanmei (MeiMei)

Trained in dance and music from an early age, MeiMei (WU Yanmei) is a dancer, singer, actress and Chinese zither player who has since gone on to perform to international acclaim. Originally from Jiangsu province, China, MeiMei’s dance performances have been broadcast both on China Central Television (CCTV) and the BBC.
In 2006 she gained her MMus in (East Asian) Music Performance from SOAS, University of London and was also selected by Theatre-Rites, a London-based theatre company, to receive a bursary for minority ethnic visual artists/choreographers.

Stephen Hoo born and raised in London studied Theatre at The Brit Performing Arts School. He then went on to study Modern and Classical Chinese at The School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London), where he also studied Film & Theatre of China, Taiwan and the Diaspora.
Stephen is proud of his Chinese heritage and actively seeks work where these themes are present. He has played the infamous Song Liling in David Henry Hwangs subversive “M.Butterfly”, the rough mainlander Ming opposite David Tse in Simon Wu's “Wolf in the House”, adopted Terry in Rikki Beadle-blair's “HOME”, the drunken foul mouthed Charlie in “BODEGA LUNG FAT” at The Hackney Empire and British born Chinese Chris in Soho Theatre's “Soho Streets”.

Irene has been working in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. She is British Chinese and grew up in the suburbs of London. She started modelling in her teens before going to drama school to train as an actress.
She graduated from Drama Studio London (NCDT) in 1993 and since then has worked internationally in film, television, theatre, radio, commercials, and as a presenter. Notably she was Lead Supporting actress to Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor in feature films "Nightwatch" and "Rogue Trader" respectively. Irene is also host and anchor for Oracle WebTV.

Inspired by East Asian physical style, he became Artistic Director of Yellow Earth Theatre where for 13 years, he successfully led the company to become the UK’s only revenue-funded British East Asian touring theatre.

Natasha is an award-winning professional make-up artist/designer, who was born in Taipei Taiwan.
Natasha came to London in 2003 to study at the London College of Fashion (University of the Arts London) and graduated in 2006 with a degree in 'Special effects Make-up (Film & TV)'.
After her graduation, she landed her first theatre job at Yellow Earth Theatre as Make-up & Hair Designer for the production of "King Lear" (a co-production with the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre) which took her to work in Shanghai and Chongqing in China, and thereafter, the production toured Britain including at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stafford-upon-Avon where she had the honor to meet and chat with HRH Prince of Wales there in November 2006.

Andy Cheung

Andy is a writer and performer and has worked with celebrated theatre companies such as English National Opera, Yellow Earth Theatre and Twisting Yarn Theatre Company.
Andy’s plays have been staged as rehearsed readings at The Royal Court, Chelsea Centre, The Albany and Soho Theatre. He wrote the show script for The Chinese Stage Circus at the Hackney Empire, and the story for Yellow Earth’s ‘Chinese Two-Step 1925-2005’, a multi-disciplinary performance including drama, music and dance that was performed by the Chinese communities in Trafalgar Square.
Andy’s play ‘Peace Pagoda’, inspired by the monument in London’s Battersea Park, received a special preview at The Linbury, Royal Opera House in 2007.
