Chike Chan

Chike Chan is a British born Chinese Actor working mainly in the film and television industry. He also works with actors making their firsts steps into the industry.

After attending Parrswood High School in South Manchester he followed in his brothers footsteps by continuing his academic studies at St Johns College. After the first year of studying Pure Mathematics, Statistics and Government and Politics he decided that this was not the route for him. He made the bold decision to leave the A level courses without completing the exams.

After studying for three years at The Arden School of Theatre he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Diploma in Acting Studies.

Television appearances include Ultimate Force, Holby City and Coronation Street.

Film credits include Out For A Kill (starring Steven Seagal), Popcorn and Batman Begins (starring Christian Bale)

Whilst on the set of Batman Begins Chike taught Christian Bale how to say his lines in Mandarin.

Apart from speaking Mandarin and Cantonese, he is also conversant in another seven languages. This came in useful when filming long running German television series Tatort, where he played the guest lead role of Tony Wang in the Christmas episode called Der Tote Chinese.

Through his company Papercut Productions Chike helps actors at the initial stages of their career by producing showreels to showcase their talent.

He is also in the process of writing a 6-episode television series.
